ROBOT-ASSISTED PHYSIOTHERAPY
Every year, millions of people rely on physiotherapy to regain strength and mobility after injury or
illness. But physiotherapy is often limited: therapist time is scarce, sessions are short, and patients
are expected to perform exercises independently at home – often without guidance or feedback. This
gap between sessions can slow down recovery and reduce motivation.
HuMotion addresses this challenge by combining cutting-edge robotics and smart movement
modeling. Our solution is an intelligent robotic assistance system that supports patients throughout
their rehabilitation journey. It helps them re-learn correct movements, provides assistance and
correction during exercises, and gradually introduces resistance to rebuild strength – all guided by
mathematical models that adapt to each person’s natural movement patterns.
HuMotion is designed to work alongside therapists in clinics and, in the future, at home – making
therapy more continuous, more personalized, and more effective. With HuMotion, we aim to ease the
