The HAFIS Impact Day 2026 is the culminating event of the Helmholtz Academy for Intrapreneurship (HAFIS). This unique program empowers researchers to turn their scientific results into impactful projects, addressing urgent societal challenges through intrapreneurship.

Twenty teams from four Helmholtz Centers will showcase the results of their projects developed over the past nine months. Each project stems from their research and tackles various issues related to different significant challenges.

About HAFIS

HAFIS offers a nine-month, project-based program where participants gain critical methodological knowledge and skills to successfully develop their projects. The program begins with a joint kick-off event, where all participants get to know each other, potential research-based impact areas are identified and team partners are found. This is followed by individual coaching sessions and the development of more concrete project ideas, presented at the joint mid-term event. The second phase emphasizes implementing project ideas, managing resources, and communication, culminating in the joint impact day event, where you will present in front of our contacts from industry, business and society.

Workshops and project meetings are held about every three to four weeks. In these so-called power-ups, we provide methods and tools that can be used to further develop and implement your own project ideas. You also have the opportunity for individual, project-related coaching & sparring at any time. Every power-up has one focus topic.
