CONVERTING CAPTURED CO₂ INTO
VALUABLE CHEMICAL PRODUCTS
We are developing a next-generation CO₂ electrolysis platform based on direct carbonate reduction,
designed to convert captured CO₂ into high-purity carbon monoxide (CO) and syngas. Unlike
conventional gas-fed systems, our technology achieves near-total CO₂ utilization, significantly
reducing the need for downstream gas separation. This closed-loop process enables continuous,
energy-efficient operation and seamless integration with renewable energy sources and carbon
negative supply chains.
Engineered for high CO selectivity, low energy consumption, and stable performance at elevated
current densities, our modular electrolyzer addresses key technical and economic barriers in CO₂
utilization. Coupled with Direct Air Capture (DAC) units, the system enables decentralized, on-demand
carbon capture and conversion, producing clean syngas for downstream use in fuels, chemicals, and
materials
