ELOG-RAG turns years of operational records – the shift reports, fault descriptions and troubleshooting notes that pile up in every electronic logbook – into a knowledge resource the whole organisation can actually use. In any facility that runs continuously, this archive is one of the most valuable assets the company owns. Yet in practice it is almost unusable: records are filed by date, not by meaning, so finding “how did we solve this last time?” depends on someone happening to remember. When experienced staff retire, that knowledge walks out the door with them, and newer colleagues end up repeating expensive mistakes. ELOG-RAG makes that knowledge as easy to access as asking a trusted colleague. A user describes a situation in plain language and immediately gets the relevant past cases, together with a clear answer that points back to the original records- so it can be trusted and verified, not taken on faith.
